Steve Grady

Steve's management and insurance experience was obtained from Fortune 500 organizations such as Baxter International, American Hospital Supply and The Gates Rubber Company. Steve's past positions, including an international assignment were General Manager, Vice President of Marketing & Sales along with a Management Committee appointment (Executive Board Member- International Subsidiary). At each position Steve was directly accountable for the recruitment and retention of personnel.

During the mid 80's, Steve was heavily involved with health insurance carriers and providers during the inception of "Managed Care". Later Steve worked with teams of clinicians and business professionals to formulate "Disease State Management" programs that would enable providers and insurance carriers to more effectively manage a specific employer population within the confines of managed care. The development of new business models within the managed care arena also included the design, implementation and evaluation of new pricing methodology between health insurance carriers and providers.

Jim Bissonett

Jim joined Monterey Benefits LLC in 2005 and has been providing corporate employee benefit consulting services since 1981. Jim's background includes all areas of Health and Welfare, Retirement Plans and Health Prevention and Wellness.

Mike Fortner

Mike has been extensively involved in corporate employee benefit consulting since the 1990s. His employee benefit expertise was obtained directly from insurance carriers and national consulting firms. Mike ran the Midwest Region of Great-West Healthcare & Retirement Solutions, was a Partner at Stanton Group, and played a key role in starting-up a national Consumer Driven Healthcare company.

Mike's core strengths include all areas of Health and Welfare Plans as well as Retirement Plans. His specialties include areas like Account Based Healthplans (HSAs, HRAs, etc.), Self Funding, Prescription Drug Management, Underwriting, and Wellness.

Mike is committed to delivering exceptional service to his clients and is also actively involved in his community including mentoring students from the University of Minnesota.

Warren Driver

Warren brings more than 18 years of experience as an investment professional to Monterey Benefits. He has a broad background in the securities industry and has performed a number of functions from sales, marketing and investment banking to roles in supervision and compliance.

In addition to his employee benefits consulting abilities, Warren currently maintains his state and federal securities registration with CUE Financial Group, a Registered Investment Advisor and NASD broker / dealer.

Jenny McElroy

Jenny's work experience is comprised of health insurance carriers and information system consulting firms. Actual work experience is comprised of organizations such as Health Net / QualMed, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Colorado, Pricewaterhouse / Coopers & Lybrand, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and American Management Systems.

Jennifer Sherman

Jennifer's professional experience was obtained from organizations such as IKON Office Solutions and University of Phoenix/Apollo Group. Jennifer's most recent experience focused on Account Management within the Technology and Higher Education industries.

Jennifer's focus as an Account Manager is to maintain relationships with clients, carriers and providers. She works diligently to support all persons involved in the benefit plan strategy, design, and financial performance for a client.

Dawn Caccavale

Dawn began her career in health insurance with United Healthcare of AZ. Within United Healthcare, Dawn progressed through several positions including Sales Assistant, Insurance Rating Analyst and Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Account Executive.

Dawn provides important client support for all areas of group benefits. Known for her outstanding follow-through, she directs her efforts with clients to problem solving, renewals, and HR Connection website production.

Carol T. Antal

Carol is a financial professional with over 10 years of experience. Her management and accounting experience was obtained from one of New Jersey’s largest banks.

As the Assistant Vice President of the Mortgage Servicing Department, she managed the Real Estate Tax accounting, Insurance Processing, Investor reporting and Collection Management functions. She developed strong business partnerships with investors. She is an analytical problem solver, team builder and was consistently recognized as leading a unit providing outstanding customer service.

Early in her career, Carol was an accountant in the Treasurer’s Department. She was responsible for the preparation of both internal and external financial statements. She was a liaison with external and internal auditors, including preparation of formal responses to findings.

Susan Rienzo

Susan's background has been focused on marketing, specifically research and analysis. Her professional experience incorporates consumer food products companies, research agencies, and the real estate field, including having obtained a New Jersey real estate license.

Most recently she has facilitated the transition process for dental practices being put up for sale, including comprehensive practice analyses and marketing support. She also acted as liaison between dentists and potential buyers.
